The on-field survey will be carried out by the Hyderabad-based agency GeoKno. The LiDAR method makes use of light in the form of a pulsed laser to measure ranges/variable distances to the Earth. These light pulses, combined with other data recorded by the system, will generate high-precision three-dimensional information about the shape of the Earth in that area and also the surface/geographical characteristics, which helps in planning, designing and implementing the project. 4. The Metro Connect Keeping in mind the increasing number of passengers travelling from Kochi to different parts of Kerala, the Semi High Speed Rail (SHSR) will have an integrated station in the second phase of Kochi Metro, near Infopark at Kakkanad.
